June 18--Day 6, Part 1--Don't go chasin' waterfalls...

Finally! The falls of Toccoa Falls!

Don't let the picture fool you. These falls are 186-feet high. The tourist brochure tells us (with an unnecessary comma) that "This spectacular, waterfall is one of the highest free-falling waterfalls east of the Mississippi River." Of course, the ongoing drought has reduced the amount of water going over the falls. The brochure also says that "thousands of tourists are struck by its majesty and beauty" each year. I wouldn't get that excited about it, but the falls are pretty.
