July 4--Day 22--Pioneer Village

Today's adventure was to the Fanshawe Pioneer Village. It represents early life in Ontario from about 1850. It was an absolutely glorious day! The kind of days we get down South right about the middle of spring. Clear, sunny, slightly breezy, and just warm enough not to be chilly, but not hot either. Just perfect to be outside. Ah, all is well with the world.

Hey! What's a monkey got to do to get a little privacy around here?!

I hate to admit it, but Ashlynn beat me in checkers. She's pretty good; watch out if you ever dare to take her on!

Peek a boo!

This is the earliest structure on the property. It's interesting to imagine an entire family living in this little one room house.

We were driving to the pioneer village, and I saw this and thought, "Dam."
